Train Dispatcher 2 Train Dispatchers are the air traffic controllers of the railroads. They control the movement of trains over large track territories. This game simulates the gargantuan routing tasks a real-life dispatcher faces daily. The problem is that trains must share a limited number of tracks. It some cases a single track must be shared by trains going in opposite directions. It is the job of the dispatcher to control the movement of trains over this limited resource, which can create one bottleneck after another. This highly detailed game will test your organisation and logic solving abilities. However whether you want this from a game is a very important question. I found that it was difficult to get into and not particularly rewarding when you do keep trains on the tracks, so to speak. Overall this feels more like training software than a game, and unless you have a keen interest in trains this game will probably be patience overload.
