In contrast to the name, instead of fighting crimes you perform them! Starting as a lonely criminal you can play pickpocket, raid supermarkets, hotels and banks, steal cars, attack mail trains and more! Then once you have a high standing in the criminal underworld you are able to recruit members to your gang, train and arm them.
It may look a little crude at first, but do not let this turn you away, for this is a truly addictive game. The depth that this game goes in to is great, and this includes the free html manual which goes in to more than enough detail to enjoy the full effect of the game.
But I have friends, won't this keep me away from them for days? No, you can also play it multiplayer - but be warned this is not so great, as the game is turn-based and as such takes a very long time to get interesting with more than one player. But then again, it still is great fun to play once you all get in to it!
To sum it up, this game is Gangsters for the freeware scene. It may not graphically compare to the standard of commercial games from the past few years, but gameplay-wise it is a winner!
