XL Footy Manager

Using your footy managerial skills you must take your chosen team to the highest level you can. Use your judgement to buy the best players, pick the team and decide on tactics/formation. And all this in MS Excel!

There are numerous game making tools and hundreds of programming languages yet this crazy person made their game in Excel! And to be honest it is a hundred times better than anything I have seen in Excel before. But does it stand up against other games?

An Excel based app is never going to be an action packed game, but compared to other strategy based manager games it works really well. The usual options are there and it plays quite well. However the lack of realistic data and lack of interaction in matches except at half-time are both really big negatives. But at least it is easier to play at work than Champ Manager!
