| Dodge n Dash |
 |
One beautiful day in the Peak District two sheep, Dodge and Dash, were grazing in a meadow. What made Dodge and Dash different from other sheep was that they loved racing cars and dreamed of driving a shiny sports car at top speed. The other sheep laughed at them. Suddenly a car came to a rumbling halt near their meadow. Out rushed the driver Mr Cool and disappeared behind the nearest tree. This was the chance Dodge and Dash had been waiting for. They ran towards the road as fast as their legs could carry them and jumped over the fence. Dash took the wheel while Dodge buckledup in the passenger seat...
Taking the control of the shiny sport car you have to drive through five different courses before Mr Cool has a chance to catch up with you. With simple but enjoyable graphics, sounds and gameplay this game has feels like the perfect overhead driving experience.
Although the in-game mechanics are spot on, the overall "game" experience is let down by the lack of progression or reward. All the tracks are available from the start, although the later tracks do get busier with traffic I found the first one hardest to complete in the time-limit, and even when you do complete one there is not even a congratulations message to speak of. I guess a picture of the sheep hanging out the window of the car with their thumbs up was a bit too much to hope for.
